Glenfiddich created his third Age of Discovery expression to commemorate the voyage of the ship HMS Beagle in 1831. He travelled the world and landed on the east coast of South America, allowing Charles Darwin to collect fossils and develop the famous theory of evolution.

At 19 years of age, this edition has completed its ageing in barrels that produced the complex and velvety red wines of South America, made from Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes. An extraordinary and very rich single malt is the result with an unparalleled velvety and warm spicy notes.

NOSE: Toasted marshmallows with notes of red berries and vanilla oak. Ripe fruit with subtle notes of woody spices.

PALATE: First of all, spices, deep and creamy with a velvety softness. Rich oak notes and sweet berries.

FINISH: Soft and long.
