This remarkable "speysider" of 21 years of age benefited, under the aegis of Brian Kinsman, from a special ripening of 4 months in casks of Caribbean rum. Glenfiddich offers the particularity of using the ex-bourbons casks which contained their own produced rum in the area of Sancti-Spiritus, in the heart of the island of Cuba. This refining aims to add the most precious, sweet and exotic flavors to their gold-colored single malt with topaz reflections.
NOSE: marked by fig, caramel and ripe banana.
PALATE: full of complex aromas of vanilla toffee and spices that blend with oak with a hint of smoke.
FINISH: continues with cocoa and bitter chocolate with a delicate woody taste.
